We eat good food and drink better beer. The problem with Wisconsin is that there is too much to do.

We have the biggest music festival (Summerfest).
We have ethnic festivals all summer.
We have the Harley thing this year.
    More than 10,000 lakes...
More bars and decent food. I remember last time the Badgers were in the Rose Bowl the Badger fans drank Pasedena out of beer. That doesn't happen here...
We really don't have bad highway conditions with traffic jams.
Reasonable prices on food, beer and lodging.

The people are nice to most outsiders, even FIB's. (The "I" stands for Illinois.... figure out the rest on your own)

If you don't mind me bringing my wife along. And she will also want to see Arches, Canyonland, Bryce, and Zion in Utah. And also visit Moab for their fine brewpubs.

Sounds like your vacation will be longer than the wife and I can hang. I'm jealous though.

I don't think that your sexual orientation needs to be stated in this forum unless you want to start another string of Gay HVAC Techs Unite. Maybe hold a Gay HVAC Tech Convention at your house instead of Madison.

    Food

How about a nice porterhouse grilled rare and heavy on the season all. Did anyone else get their grill going on Monday's 44' Heat Wave? Does anyone else outhere have a dual fuel Aussie grill? I have it made my Dad raises beef and I get all my freezer can hold. Beer sounds good but I can't drink any more I'm allergic.
