    Trane PerfectFit Media

I have a Trane PerfectFit Air Filter (TFM245B0FR0) for each of my heat pump units. I would like to replace my filter media.

My question is, where is a recommended source I can purchase replacement filter media?

The label on the filter media that's inside the enclosure is BAYFTFREXM. The filter is approximately 27" wide by 24" high by 5" thick. It looks like the old filter media is removed from the plastic holder and a new filter media is carefully put back into the holder.

    Many thanks for the help!

    Best regards,

    Bill

You can get them from your HVAC contractor, or from a number of online filter supplier.
There are 2 sizes, one for air handlers, and one for furnaces, the "FR" in the model on yours indicates that it is for a furnace.
The first couple of times you change the filter media, it can be a little tricky, but is very easy once you get the hang of it.

Mark, many thanks for the response.

I'll look for an on-line supplier, and order accordingly.

Yes, my unit is a furnace, not an air handler (actually a WaterFurnace Envision heat pump).

    Best regards,

    Bill
