Can I get one more summer?

Got a call that condenser wasnt running and when she reset the breaker smoke and sparks were shooting out of the control box. When I got there I found two crispy gekos on top of the run cap and a fried start assist. The disturbing part is what the rest of the condenser looked like.

Looks more like dog piss to me, but she swore up and down they chew on it. I really wanted to throw my hands up and walk away from this one.

Those PTC start assists do that fairly often, Dog must be a huge one to pee on the coil that high up.

She had 5 big ass dogs. Thats just one side of the coil it looks like that all the way around. She refused to let me get her a price on a new one.

She was the fix it as cheap as you can, can you just replace the fins that were "chewed" off type. She gladly paid 300 bucks for a hard start and new run cap though.

I've seen so many customers swear up and down that their dog has NEVER peed on the condenser. It's so obvious when they do. Eventually they usually lower their head in shame and admit that they let them do it.

Missing a sheet metal screw in the second picture, holding the coil to the frame.
