    hole in evaporator

    Its hard to belive but i got a walk in cooler with a hole in the evaporator and i got a cheep custmer what do you recommended for repairing leak
    thanks still learning everyday

    Bubble gum just kidding .gave him quote for repair if possible to repair or price for new gave him invoice for your time and get out .cheap custmer

    hole ? how large ? repairable ?? the cheap ones never even get away with being cheap as much as they may think they are .. sometimes gotta make the customer happy .. if he opts for repair braze it .. ive brazed holes shut as large as dimes with great success

    refrigerant leak due to a hol anywhere, and a cheap customer don't mix well. I recommend neither.

    Id agree and if u want the job just quote new evap dont screw around

    if u do repair, tell customer, NO WARRANTY, and make him sign to that

    Had one similar once, used epoxy and a strong vacuum. And a signed release form before I started!

    Bakery, produce walk in?? Pin holes in the return bents? I've repaired em before, what idid was with moderat heat coat all the bends with silphos, it may just work! but like shaun said no warranty on that beeiotch
