24 Volt Motor speed controller?????
Hello folks. I have been searching high and low for a 24 volt AC speed controller, dimmer switch or potentiometer. It must be able to handle up to 3.5 amps and I would prefer a rotary time but may be different. Any Ideas where to find one. Thank you in advance, Jim

Hook a 24VAC actuator to a rheostat.

This may be problem. AC motor speed is a function of frequency and the number of poles the motor is designed with. A device to vary the voltage will not be satisfactory. Some motors are designed with multiple speed taps that will allow some variation but are normally a higher voltage and fractional horsepower.
