You turn it on and start a stop watch. This isn't that hard to measure and publish. Usage is not a varriable this way. They might be wishy washy and say 40 hrs under normal use.

Android app is still 6 months out. And MSRP is $599.
The was the price the sporlan rep told me... I'm sure he didn't want to say anything to low because it was in front of a wholesaler. So yes $400 sounds like a decent price.
So are these available now? And where?

Here's the youtube video.
Same deal with a 4011. On a system they are every bit as fast to respond and less total mass when you take into account the total size. They use a thin wire not incapsulated in epoxy like many typical thermistors you see around. The Cooper does a better job at sheilding away external ambient as well.
Are these for sale yet?
Saw a video where the guy was stoked about this kit. From the close ups of the clamps I'm not so sure this thing is going to be all that accurate after all. Will have to wait on the compairson videos I guess. Wireless doesn't look like it will would go through obstructions very well if at all.
That's a shame. I was interested because it was so simple.
It looks like the I-Connect is miles ahead of the competition from what I've seen so far.
Search youtube for "T and N services". Ralph has posted several videos showcasing the Sporlan Smart Tool in action.
