If I was King I would prefer to have the first air conditioners ever made. I have seen them in movies but never fortunate enough to have my own. They were the beautiful women in silk waving fans over there warriors. That's why I'm an HVAC apprentice so I can shower a princess with gifts to win her love. And at my current pay rate it has not happened yet!

Thought that the "Mosquito Coast" with Harrison Ford would have made the list, as refrigeration was a central element of the movie. I think they took may have taken some liberties as I recall.
