    Downloading FX

    I am struggling to download a JCI FX Master display (first time user) It is the 03 model with a local link bus and a rs232 interface for a GSM modem. I purchased a null modem cable that connects to the rs232 GSM port and com1 on my laptop
    Using FX loader v 4.1 program doesn't give me the option to download an Apd file only the FW. I tried using the rs232 to 485 converter we use to download a DX and connected it to the local link bus - no joy. Do I need 1 of those App key tools for downloading?

    I downloaded through a N2 card. I only did it once though but I had no problems.
