    EARD6 and ARD6 = same thing or what?

    As far as I can tell from my catalog, the only difference between these is whether they ship as power-open/spring-close or power-close/spring-open. Since you can just reconfigure them on the jobsite, I think they are completely interchangable. Doesn't explain why the EARD price is slightly higher though.

    Am I missing something?

    eard is economizer damper....might be built a litte heavier or something.....might be the same as an ard...just that honeywell prices it higher...lol

    If zoning use the ard.

    heres a link to the honeywell page...maybe you can search thru the documents they have...installation etc.... and find out the big differences...if any.
