I recently aquired a complete Copeland compressor system, model FJAL-B301-TFC-010, emerson fans, parker reciever ect.

The unit was used less than 4 months. Would ebay a good site to sell at?

That's a fairly popular model. First call around to the local refrigeration contractors and see if their interested. They will check it out and maybe make an offer. I would be hesitant selling it on e-bay, not knowing if it's mechanically sound.

I also noticed written on the side, "5 year warranty". Copeland only offers a 1 year warranty.

How did you "acquire" this condensing unit?

Value = what someone is willing to pay for it.

Warranty value= a big zero
Where was it running at?
What size freezer was it pulled out of?
Why was R-408 A, run in it with compressor discharge temps +20 degrees above R-404A DCT for this CF09K6E-TF5-253 compressor.

Thanks Powell & others for the reply. I "aquired" the unit when I bought the diner to move to Ohio where we refurbish diners. (www.oh-diners.com) The warranty noted on the side along with the installation date were marked by the installer, Alleghany Refrigeration , I belive. They offered a couple hndred $ which seemed low considering the price new. It was hooked up to a walk in cooler maybe 6 X6 in size. I'll make a few calls locally. Thanks.
