Found this on a roof I was on today. I bet the roofer and the tech were fighting.

Roofers can be a challenge. I once met with a roofing co. supervisor to prove the rtu leaked. They had glued roofing rubber over every seam in the rtu and proceded to water test it. It didn't leak untill they sprayed water INTO the fresh air damper under the hood. I then pointed out to the supervisor a tear in the roof membrane 10 feet away and spent the next hour and a half scraping that crap off the rtu over his objections. No more leaks, backcharged him too.

I've done something similar to a few units on a school to prove to higher ups and the company that just reroofed the building that water was not coming in from my units. I siliconed the crap out of every crack, around the gas lines, around the curbs. Sure enough, they weren't the cause of the leaks....

    Where's the water leak

Goodman had an issue with some of their rooftop units leaking rainwater in. I had a Goodman rep come out and he personally caulked every seam and panel.
