    Furnace doesn't come on

    We have an older furnace and when i went to turn it on this morning it would not come on. The thermostate clicks like it is sending signal to it but the unit will not come on. Any suggestion as to what it could be?

    Make sure you have power to the furnace and the access panel is in place.

    It could be anything. If you checked to see if you had power to the furnace (the switch is on, breaker not tripped) and it's on, but not working. Then you need to call for service.
