    What is a scuttle humidifier?
That control can generate a 24v output from the furnace that can control a bypass humidifier or a peanut relay to make contacts for power humidifiers

    Skuttle humidifier

It is a steam humidifier that puts whatever relative humid settings you chose.

    skuttle

Mispeled the name of the fumidifer. It is a 110v skuttle steam humidifier. It has a fan control on it which the man just ran into the thermostat that came with the akuttle. I think it should be ran somewhere else.

The user interface will be used to set the humidity level for both heating and cooling. Using the HUM output from the furnace will give you 24-volts to be used directly for 24-volt humidifier solenoid valve or to trip a relay to supply some other voltage to the humidifier. With the Evolution controls, the blower can be commmanded to operate at the programmed speed to satisfy a humidification call, just like a heat call. This allows much better humdification, particularly with steam humidifiers because humidification can take place even when the furnace is off. When connected to and communicating with an outdoor unit, the OAT sensor will also supply OAT to the User Interface for the humidity calculation.
If YOU want change, YOU have to first change.

If you are waiting for the 'other guy' to change first, just remember, you're the 'other guy's' other guy. To continue to expect real change when you keep acting the same way as always, is folly. Won't happen. Real change will only happen when a majority of the people change the way they vote!

I wondered if it was steam. We don't use those so wasn't familiar with name. I'd use the 24v output to control a relay that will give power to the humidifier when control senses need
