Well bout to revive this thread....
Customer called saying the cooler was @60F.... I get there and sure enough it was at 60F. The cooler was in service mode...why?? I have no clue, the smart controller is locked for the freezer and cooler.. I literally have no clue what i did i didn't even unlock it, i simply pushed program review, then monitor...then it "magically" came out of it and started working normally.
I tested and tested.....25volts from transformer, ok there. EXV is stepping up and down properly, suction psi matches what the transducer sees.
Why the unit was in service mode for no reason, i have no idea, so here's what i did. Ended up changing the contactor on the cooler just because that's what i did with the freezer and we haven't had problems since...
Also we ran 2 extra low voltage wires from the evap boards to the condensers so I swapped the wire for the service switch thinking I may have a "nicked" wire or something stupid.
I watched it cycle 5 or more times, no problem...can u guys think of anything else? No error codes either
