    Rudd & Bryant???

    Hello,

    Great site!

I'm in need of a furnace soon, since mine is 35 yrs old. I have found a good installer and he sells both RUDD & BRYANT.

Here's the info on the furnaces

    RUDD
    Achiever Series
Achiever 90 Plus with Dual Comfort Control Upflow Gas Furnace
    Model: UGRK

    BRYANT
    Preferred Series
    The Plus 90t™ Gas Furnace
    Model: 352AAV

Is one furnace better than the other?

The pricing is very comparable so it's hard to decide

Also, I noticed there are a lot more BRYANT dealers in my area, should I be concerned about parts availability?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

Key is best possible installation and proper sizing. That's hard to come by these days.

Either furnace will do you just fine. Don't worry about Rheem/Ruud parts, they are a large brand, just don't have the name recognition & advertising as Carrier/Bryant.
