In a home with radiant floor heat, I believe that it would be best to coat the interior walls and ceiling with a IR reflective paint. This would keep the radiant heat bouncing around and making the occupants feel warmer vs heating the walls and ceiling. Ie, it is consistent with the "heat the occupants not the air" plan.

It sounds like they have made good progress in making normal looking paints that are IR reflective.

Any thoughts?
