    Question Trane mercury stat question

    I went to change out a trane heat pump mercury thermostat for a relative and remembered that I never found out what the extra terminals on a Trane stat were for. I have X2,O,G,Y,T,R,W,U,F,B. What are the X2,T,U, and F terminals for? I like Trane stuff, yet I think they make things more complicated than needed, although not as bad as lennox.
