    PTAC with no wall sleeve?

    I need a PTAC for my media room above my garage. I do not want to put a large hole in the roof, but I have 3 dormers..is there a way to vent the exhaust/return through the dormers?

    Really need to use sleeve and factory grille. These fans aren't meant for any kind of ducting, just not strong enough. Might need to look into a mini-split instead.

    Mini split is the way to go. 2 1/2 inch hole through the wall is all you need. You can mount the outdoor section on the roof, on the wall, or on the ground.
