Anybody have a good Airline Miles Credit Card?
I thought I had one. Actually I have 2. Both are from Capital One. One's a business card, the other a personal card I use for business.
Earlier in the year, it took 75,000 miles (75k in purchases) to get a flight to Asia (or $1500 off the ticket)
I thought it was the same on both cards. I got one to 75k, and began to use the other. Now they are both at 75k or so.
So, I go to redeem miles...or at least to check into a trip to Asia for 4 of us.
My business card is still worth $1500 off the price of a ticket (or $750 cash), until Dec 15, where the rules change, and then it's only worth $750 off a ticket or $750 cash.
But using their travel agent...tickets are $3800 each to Philippines...hmm..x4 = $15,200...Yikes....
Or I could shop on Orbitz and get them for $2200 each...or $8800....
No Hassle Rip Off
My personal card...the No Hassle Rewards card
....damn them...is only worth $375 cash - 78,000 miles....and worth only $375 cash or airfare ....Rewards of .005%!
Man...I've been working that card to death for 6 months...with business purchases... what a waste.
I really need a CC linked with an airline...where I can accrue miles with a purchase or by flying them..the 1% rewards isn't gonna do it
Anybody?

Ours are worse than yours....
If everything was always done "by the book"....the book would never change.

Priority Club Visa for me. I use the free nights for vacation stays. You can do miles, too.
Merry Christmas
