I started some Aerco Boilers in the West Indies ..
they sent a guy over to the US with a 500,000$ check to buy equipment ..
ever' thing was first class ...
actually, Donald Trump kinda class ...$28,000 a week for a waterside Villa..
Sandy Lane Hotel, St. James, Barbado's ....

The last motel I stayed at had a beatdown looking ptac. It was like 80 degF outside at NIGHT and I was sweating my balls off. I could hear the compressor shortcycling in my sleep!! I pulled the filters and they were plugged solid.
Worst motel EVAR.

I know what you mean there. Almost every motel I've been in that had PTAC units I found usually that the filters were plugged solid. It became second nature to walk into a room and check right off the bat.
