Mr. Slim Mismatched Indoor/Outdoor Units
Good thing I checked. I asked for an M series 12K BTU Mr. Slim and the installer used an A12 unit indoors and the A09 outdoor unit. (1) Is it OK to run till they fix it? (2) Could this be an error in filling the order by Mits or do they go exactly by the model nos. that the installer asks for ? Thanks.

It's an error
They both have to be A12. I guess I have an undersized compressor for the air exchanger till the A09 gets swapped out.

We occasionally mis match these mini splits if they're to be fitted in a server room. Don't worry- it's unlikely to do any damage by running it
