    Honeywell IAQ frost setting

I have the Honeywell vison pro IAQ stat and use the humidity control. It has an outdoor temp sensor. I understand the concept of why the sensor enhances the humidity control. My question pertains to the frost setting scale of 1 to 10 on the stat when you go to check the humidity.

I can't find any examples of how to set the scale. I know that as the temp outside gets colder you want the humidity to decrease to prevent wet windows etc. How does this scale work? Anyone know or can link me to the explanation of the scale of 1 to 10? The scale is now set in the middle(5), and humidity set at 50%

    Thanks
    Al

One is the lowest humidity added and 10 is the highest based on outdoor temp. I would leave it in the 5 position and monitor R/h

I set ours at 5, and humidity at 45%, if the windows are getting wet, then I bump it down to 4.

Thanks for the replies. I'll try that 45 and 5. So now I know what it does to go toward the 1.

If it sweats, then go toward the low end of the scale.
