Can you post a picture of the switch and give the numbers that are on it?
We're looking for a high limit switch for a Customer's ancient Inter-City furnace. Customer can't afford to replace whole unit right now.
Unit is so old there are no model numbers or serial numbers on anything.
I know that Inter-City became International Comfort Products which became United Technologies. BUT.....where on earth might I find this part in Canada and am I completely s-o-l without having a model #??
thanks!
Can you post a picture of the switch and give the numbers that are on it?
m# of furnace would help. But from what I "hear" some supply houses have employees that can barely find their pecker, much less a part from who knows when.
I am not endorsing INTERNET sales or diy dorks...but try this place. At least for any numbers you can give your local yahoo to help them help you..........

Inter City is one of the largest in the world, their brands include Heil, Tempstar, Arcoaire, Comfortmaker, Airquest, KeepRite and Lincoln brand names. Their commercial products include the ICP Commercial brand as well as Heil, Tempstar, Arcoaire, Comfortmaker and KeepRite. This is not much help with older units. Most individual parts on these units are made by other manufacturers specializing in controls. Look for the part manufacturer and contact them if all else fails.
