    Small Hermetic Systems

    As you dudes already know, I do refer work for Coke on small hermetic systems. We have limited training and knowledge. I guess you would say I am a few steps above a do it yourself homeowner.

    Anyways, can someone post a link for me where I can find a fairly priced instrument to clamp on the lowside suction return to get a temperature reading.

    i started out doing reefer work for coke, that stuff was fun, I had to laugh a couple weeks ago when i went to a supermarket for a problem with the cheese case, it ended up being a GDM-47, it was a while since i worked on one them lil fellas

    I picked up 2 Fluke pipe clamp thermocouples and a Fluke 52 all in great shape on Fleabay. Got about $150.00 invested.

    actually It's the sliding door model, same type that's been around since the seventies, sliding doors closed by a string and a counter weight, oh! the technology!! haha
