    Try these old A/Cs

OK gang, here's a few easy ones for you. Silver, 1 brand per guess

heat pump from around 1980, popular brand

This one is so easy I almost didn't scan it

This may be more of a challenge since those wall mount units looked similar

    Another 1980ish unit

    Another TTW condenser challenge

*Installation is more important than the brand of equipment
*The duct system keeps the house comfortable; the equipment only heats and cools (and dehumidifies)

No 1 is a Westinghouse. I grew up with that in back yard. Had a double shafted condenser blower motor with two squirl cages.
No 2 Hmm so many looked like them. Bryant, Carrier. Don't remember the feet on those thou.

#4 maybe a Williamson? I was kinda either thinking that or a Twilli special. Looks like an ICP except those channel feet and the fan grille.

    (Oops, just one guess)

#2 Silver got as a Singer

#3 Stamas got as a Rheem

#4 is not a Coleman or a Payne

    #5 is not a Tappan

So work on 4 and 5!

Remember that Comfortmaker evolved from Singer after the sewing machine people got out of it and Dick Snyder took the HVAC stuff separate. The first post-Singer Comfortmaker was the same shape but had a stamped top not a raised fan grill.

    Still nobody right on 4 & 5.
