ThermoPride
LP gas forced air application - have been using Lennox G61V without problems previously but, have ThermoPride dealer practically next door on this build who wants to sell me the CHX 2-stage, VS fan for about $600 over Lennox. There seems to be very little talk about ThermoPride gas units so I hoped a specific question about their reliability would get some response. thank you. tt

As I recall, electronics are White-Rodgers, same as Lennox. The cabinet and heat exchanger are tanks just like on the oil furnaces.

BaldLoonie - thank you for your reply on the Thermopride. Am seriously considering a heat pump system as you suggested. All data at FurnaceReview is extremely negative regarding reliability for all major makes. I have many good installers close by. How does one go about finding a reliable unit ? ag
