Best humidifier, no hype.
Looking for some qualified feedback , I have lots of experience with general 1042's, bulletproof humidifier, need larger unit. Looking @ general 1099 or is an aprilaire 600 or 700 any better, have always found aprilaire's a little flimsy and cheaply constucted.
Thanks for your feedback.

Ewc
Beenthere, Are you talking about the ewc steam humidifier? We sell three or four hundred of them a year but I have run into problems when they are installed on well water. Some of them scale up so bad that they will start tripping the fault codes after only a month. Do you ever run into this problem up in PA?

Only have one on a well that I remember, and it doesn't have that problem.

Humidifier
I would agree that the EWC Steam unit is a great choice. I have used several and they have always performed very well.
Inregards to the well water issue, I have bought the EWC water filter for several installations and they have worked great. They are not cheap but work well.
