    Configuring Johnson FX10 Controller

I have a job that has heat pumps controlled by the FX10. When the heat pumps arrived on site, the instance id was pre-programmed into the controller. The site owner wants to use a specific numbering scheme, and they must be redone.

From what I can determine, I can use the Johnson FX Tools software to accomplish this in the field.

Can anyone verify this? I have been transferred around my local Johnson Controls office all afternoon trying to find a response.

    Thanks

    -Mike

My understanding is the 10's are OEM only and not available to the ABCS's.

Also, unless you have the program file from the mfgr and the customer ID you won't be able to do anything with it, as far as I know.

Wish I had better news for you.

    FX10's

The FX10's are in fact OEM and probably came with the Heat Pump. The instance ID identifies the OEM. You can get with tech support and they can possibly tell you how to change them

Thanks for the comments. It looks like I will just have to wait until I hear back from the local Johnson Controls people. Hopefully, their tech support can provide the info I need.
