    Trane/AS stock question.

    Anyone have any input on what caused the nose dive in July?

    In mid july wabco spun off from An std If you owend Am std at that time you got 1 wabco at $54 for every 3 AmStd There is one more spin off after that the stock will be called Trane a smaller money making company and a prime target for take over the stock is a BUY BUY BUY

    Yea that....About eight years ago the stock split 2 or 3 for 1( can't remember the exact amounts ) at around $80, then proceded to rise again for another split. As stated above American Standard and Trane are now seperate companys.

    A split has nothing to do with Am std selling their plumbing and truck control business it is all there click on the links above quoat page
