To talk to U.C. Datamate Advanced will not let you change the Appl # only (editor) CIS and it dont run on XP . even if located in programs/Cis

    Hmm CIS password?

CIS runs fine on my XP laptop, but I recently had to reinstall it and now whenever I want to edit or change a point value, it asks me for a password. I never changed the original password, but now I can't remember what the default password is!

    Anybody know the default pass?

    Thanks

I think it's "powers". How can your CIS work on an XP machine?

Possibly he's set up a CIS Desktop Icon and enabled the Compatibility Tab function? But, you can only go back to Win 95.
Or he's rebooting to MS-Dos. This works the best for my Trane PCM software on my XP.

Oof! I forgot about this thread! Our resident 'mechanic-hurt-his-back-so-now-he-works-in-the-office-computer-dude' set it up for me.

It also runs Carrier Comfort Tech, Service Tool, MTECH, Trane TechView and MCS!

    Is the following correct?

    9 pin female: RJ-11 connector:
    3 ------------------- 5
    2 ------------------- 6
    5 ------------------- 1
    5 ------------------- 2

Is pin 5 on the DB9 connected to both 1 & 2 on the RJ-11? Also, can you tell me which is pin 1 on the 6-pin RJ-11?

    Thanks!
