York Diamond 90 Venting

I bought a used York Diamond 90 furnace and installed a 2" pvc exhaust and intake pipe, the problem I have is that the burner will not lite, it tries to but won't, it just fluters and goes out, and then goes into the cycle again. Do I have to big of a pipe or too small of a pipe, thanks Rob
