munchkin Boiler questions
What is the difference between a Munchkin Boiler model# T80M & model# 80M. The house that I'm installing it on has cast iron radiators & no zoning is wanted or needed, but i will need it to have outdoor reset with primary & secondary pumps. Do i need to install the vision 1 kit also or can i just buy the outdoor sensor & a relay pack separate. I think the T80M is a wall mount & the 80M is a floor mount. Are both Boilers the same efficiency & modulation rate? The thing that i don't understand is the venting in the installation instructions. They're both 80,000 BTU's modulating boilers, but the T80M calls for 2" venting while the 80M calls for 3". does anybody know why?

I installed a munchkin in my own home, and yes the only difference is one is wall mount and the other is floor mount. As for why 1 vent is 3" and 1 is 2", I don't know, I used the vision 1 and I really like it, but I was surprised it was only a couple of wires and its basically already built into the control. I'm not a plumber so I used a boiler board that had all the pumps and accessories. It made for a very clean install. Good luck!

"T" models are wall-hung and 2" vent (something the other manufacturers should take not of). The 80M is floor mounted and 3" PVC. The Vision Kit is simply the sensors as the controls are the same for all units.
