    totalsave recovery machine

    Ok I need help.
Old totalsave recovery unit for our local hvacr school has no manual and it is down for the count.
Is anyone out there have an old one our knows how to get it?
I spent a big part of the morning trying to find it and have had no luck.
Even called local dealer that carries Totaline products and they couldn't even find it.
With the age of this unit I advised just to scrap it but they would like it to be a working demo old versus new.
    Totalsave
    mdl# 12RB001100
    ser# 3092J04????

    Any help is appreciated.

Get hold of Dave out at Appion and he'll send you a demo Appion G5 for free. Tell him Steve told you he's the best. Appion is great at getting these into training schools.

I have repaired plenty of old recovery machines...but I was lucky enough to have the the manual.

Have you tried to trouble shoot it on your own?

    No I don't.

What i am trying to say is why not try to repair your self.

It's just a simple refer machine posing as a refrigerant transfer pump.

I have the same machine and the first thing that you will need is the correct recovery tank. The yellow cord attaches to the recovery tank and the machine will not function without a connection to the probe in the tank. I have tried to jump the terminals on the cord . when you jump the correct wires the compressor will start. the other two wires are the liquid level switch in the tank
