    Do a load calc.

    Then pull out that over sized 4 ton, and install the correct sized unit.

    You would do well to install a 2 stage unit there.

    But your unit is over-sized or it would not short cycle.

    If you installed a dehumidistat to bring the strip heat on (reheat) then the compressor would run longer and bring the humidity down. High humidity is not good for electronic stuff like computers.

    A dehumidistat would be a cheap fix up front, but expensive to operate.

    Doing what beenthere said would be the best long range solution.

    thanks for your replies, I did end up suggesting to go with electric heat strips. For now I shut off the continues fan.
    again thanks Im always trying to learn. Only been if the field for 2 1/2 year.
