Yeah now that ya mention it.
The real mystery is what are they really doing with it? Meth lab vapor cooker was the consensus in the orig thread. Some of us figured that they ducted the lab fumes to the engine intake to burn them up and mask the smell. It could be a fancy pellet stove though.
reeper I think it might be around an 80%er.

That's from the Red Green Show! Duct Tape Rules!
See, the human mind is kind of like... a piñata. When it breaks open, there's a lot of surprises inside. Once you get the piñata perspective, you see that losing your mind can be a peak experience. ~Jane Wagner

I saw that post of the van a year or so ago.....man that is a thing of beauty...with ladders as support...lol...jesus. i bet it's a real pain when he had to go out and stoke that thing....and i've always wondered if an inspector had come out, would he ask for his registration and proof of insurance.

When I first found this site I seen that picture, so I printed it out and told my install manager that I had just sold a retro fit job and it may need some ductwork. I showed him the pic and he dam near fell over until he heard me laughing... that was priceless!

We only want to do it, if we can do it right.

yeah, i dont know, but i could make the same guess... looks like a lab with a large oven... one of the low budget, inconspicuous ones. go ask him for a bump, i bet you wont sleep for two days.

Does anyone have the picture "just in case" saved?
(the picture of the carrier multipoise air handler where the installer hooked up every single drain fitting on the unit). that pic is hilarious
