I don't know what's out there currently for wood boilers but I can make a recommendation about what to consider important. It's very important to understand that a wood boiler is unlike and oil or gas boiler in one very important way: you can't just throw a switch and put out the fire. Because of this feature or lack thereof, it is imminently important that the 'dump' zone be engineered and installed properly and that the boiler relief be directed into the firebox to put out the fire in case of a runaway. I've had two dangerous experiences with wood boilers in client homes, one a fireman locally and both were nearly disastrous. Both involve 'run away' boiler conditions, once with a stuck 'dump' valve and once with an inadequately sized relief zone and a stuck damper on the boiler allowing the wood fire to accelerate to the point the boiler overheated. IMO, wood boilers must be treated with equal respect to the old gas burners with no dual gas valves safety pilots.
If YOU want change, YOU have to first change.
If you are waiting for the 'other guy' to change first, just remember, you're the 'other guy's' other guy. To continue to expect real change when you keep acting the same way as always, is folly. Won't happen. Real change will only happen when a majority of the people change the way they vote!
