Ltnt
It's great to finally have a little time to get back here.
Glad to see the old crowd is still up to their usual tricks.
I travel a lot now & am usually too tired to surf much in the evenings...assuming I'm in a hotel that has a working (and decent) internet connection.
I've been hitting the hot spots...Columbia when they broke the record at 105*, then when they broke it at 106*. The next day, when Columbia broke their old record by 3* and hit 107*, I was in Augusta, where it was 108*. Got a little "tetched" by the heat & violated my rule about never putting tools on the bumper of the truck. The vacuum pump stayed put; the scale fell off.
In West Virginia, I used my big tarp for a rain shelter one day, and a sun shelter for the next two. It's gotten some good use this summer.
I've been thru some beautiful places, so much so that I've considered taking my camping gear along this fall & doing some camping instead of the hotel rut.
Doing refrigeration is different, but the variety of work is good. My first few times brazing 1-1/2" K copper were really sad but I've gotten better. And the first time I used my 36" pipe wrench was pretty comical too.
I really need to thank my former employer for firing me...he couldn't have done me a bigger favor.
I'll be seeing y'all in the refrigeration forum, when I get the time.
Be safe out there-
