Southern equipment
saw some equipment today, Southern. Looked like a Hussmann knockoff, an Island case running R507 with local condensers. Any opinion on Southern? They look OK. How is tech support? Hope it doesn't suck royal like Hussmann. How about parts? Hope to secure this account, so I may be seeing a few of these. thanks for the input.

What was the matter with Hussman?
I used to like their packages. A little complicated but solid and nice to work on. I am still fixing a few of them.

Hussman is a decent product. Their technical support is non-existant. Some of the guys in Chino are OK, its been years since I talked to one, but there is a guy at the Gloversville plant that has the bedside manner of a Rattlesnake. Handsdown the worst experience I have ever had with tech support was on the phone with this nitwit who not only was rude, he didn't know his A@##$%^ from his elbow....404a

wow maybe southern is actually made in USA instead of those cheesy RL cases BAJA TEMPERTURA.
work on a columbus showcase THEN you have the bottom of the barrel for serviceability to compare it to!
(yeah its Copelands fault for undersizing their condensers...riiiiight....)Look, just do your job, stay outta my way and we'll get along fine.
Teach your kids to respect themselves and others with your actions- these little baboons will imitate you like it or not.
