Get it serviced regularly. Warranty doesn't cover routine service and that's the most important part of the purchase.
If YOU want change, YOU have to first change.

If you are waiting for the 'other guy' to change first, just remember, you're the 'other guy's' other guy. To continue to expect real change when you keep acting the same way as always, is folly. Won't happen. Real change will only happen when a majority of the people change the way they vote!

Al Gore would be proud of you. Nice choice.

What you got is a convertible 2-stage furnace. When there's a call for heat, it should operate on 1st stage for up to 10 minutes based on the operating conditions (board has integrated logic) and than switch to 2nd stage. (When set to auto of course)

Thermostat controlled staging is preferable, as it results in longer cycles on 1st stage as opposed to constantly switching between low, high and off.

With the heatpump operating almost constantly in mild weather (32-40F), temperatures between rooms will still be quite even regardless.

Hopefully the furnace an ECM blower.

one of the pictures is on the new intake they added. they said i need more intake to add a 3ton heatpump. i still have the 4 small intakes i had before 6 inch pipe each. my house is 1200 sq feet but i do have 18 old windows. i had a 2 ton before and it was way to small

I think the integrated logic only works in auto.
