Replydid York have these problems when the factories were in America, manned with union labor?

Anybody know why York uses Metric service valves w/ oring seals and poor brazing joints. Also the proprietary filter driers w/ oring seals. Whos manufacturer these products? doesnt seem very reliable especially when you have a high pressure machine w/ 1200 lbs. of refrigerant.

ive seen and heard of more and more problems like that with york it used to be that yourk chillers were bullet proof what a shame

dont know where that was built but if its a screw maybe mexico or Va. rebuilts from union 597 shop in chicago. corporate has taken us over with a will it last six months attitude its sucks marbles to work for this place where a quality job is viewed as wasting time. Thanks for giving me a place to vent By the way anyone hiring?
