    Carrier Infinity Comparison

Please advise on differences, advantages,or disadvantages. From specs one evaporator coil is 3 ton and the other 4 ton but not sure relevance. Thermostats are different but curious if this Infinity Thermostat is still available and recommended? systxccuid01 . Finally one contractor stated humidifier not option size/mount issue that's why no comparison. Is this Infinity HUMCCSBP same as Aprilair 600.

    Evaporator Coil CNPVP3617

The Tstat systxccuid01 is the old style and probably the ugliest Tstat ever invented.

SYSTXCCITN01 is communicating and the EDGE Tstat is not but both are comparable and nice looking.

    The humidifier is the same.

The difference between the coils should be based on the latent and sensible load of your home as determined by the Manual J load calculation.

Which ever one matches the Manual J load calculation for your home.

the cnpvp3617 physically matches this furnace and is the correct ari match for the a/c, its 17 inches wide versus the 21 inch 4 ton coil which would require a transition to accomadate

In our area you cannot even get the old style of UI anymore just the Touch and Go and Touch and Go WiFi, we only install the WiFi

I see a lot of contractors quoting the ANB7 on lower tonnage units when the ANB1 makes more sense until you get to 4 tons and higher

Make sure a Man J and Man S gets done
