r/a
im just starting out and i need to know how big the r/a for a 3.5 ton fau,, does 20x14 seem large engough?

If you're starting out as an installation contractor, your question should be addressed at the supplier level. There are engineering books, load manuals and other facilities available so you can do the job properly, without guessing. If you're a DIY person, we can't help you. We deal with generic answers in this forum and cannot help DIY installation or repair questions. Sorry. We're pros and DIY competes directly with us.

I guess you're not a tech afterall. Thanks for letting us know. If I ever had a tech talk like that in my business, he'd be on the street before the last word was out. I would go 14 x 14 with filter in r/a grill or furnace
