New HVAC system installed... cold room

We recently had the Carrier 25VNA installed with new ductwork throughout house. Everything seems to be going well but I have 1 bedroom room that seems cooler than others. The HVAC company installed 1 register over a double-window side of the room and the return by the doorway. There is another window in the room on an adjoining wall.

What are options on getting more heat into the room? Can I call the company up and mention a colder room and will they have things they can do or is it a "is what it is" kind of thing?

sorry.. we're new owners of the house.. so don't have much historical info on how things performed with previous owner/system (oil furnace w/ hw baseboard).

Carrier Infinity Heat Pump, hopefully with WiFi ( great controller)- Hopefully when they did their Manual J it was done room by room so that you will see the gain and loss for each room. The airflow for that room should meet what is required based upon Manual J and the ducting done with Manual D- May just need airflow adjustments

Could be a 90ฐell & other turns in that duct run...probably low airflow to that bedroom, for whatever reasons...

You should not have more than a 4 degree difference room to room, call them and they should have no problem getting you comfortable. They may be able to get some more air through that existing register as you do not need one at every window, but they may add another if the noise from that one gets to loud/uncomfortable to keep up with demand. Its not uncommon to need to balance some air in a new install.
