Banging noise in the air handler
I have a air handler, 3 ton First Co. (36HYX0), that we purchase through our service tech about 20 months ago. I was/am very happy with the unit but I have run into an issue.
Anyway, I have had three different techs out here and none of them know how to solve my problem. I was hoping you could help, or at least send me in the right direction. Currently, the air handler makes a banging noise every few minute from within the unit. To me, a novice, it sounds like it is coming from the coil area. It is quite loud (were you can here it on the other side of the condo) and persistent (makes a banging noise every 4 to 5 minutes). Also, it seems to have lost some of its cooling "power" as well. Out of the 3 service guys, 2 said it was a normal, and 1 said that he was new and has never seen this before. As you can see I run into a wall.
I was hoping someone could give me a guess of what the issue could be and make a recommendation. I hope you can help.
Thank you in advance.

I don't know who Craig is, but, you need to a service company there, or if you have, like you posted, a better one.
