Obama Says:
"Part of it's because of the so-called leaders of the Christian Right, who've been all too eager to exploit what divides us,"

Agreed. Spot on.
No reserve. No retreat. No regrets.
For those who have fought for it, freedom has a sweetness the protected will never know.

The real joke is that he is in the race. He hardly has no experience and spent a good part of his younger years in Indonesia and attended a Madras while there. His views are way out in the left field. He has no chance and as far as that goes the dems have no creditable candidates out there.
"I could have ended the war in a month. I could have made North Vietnam look like a mud puddle."
"I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them."
Barry Goldwater

He ought to be the poster child for the electoral college, what with how well he'll carry the urban population centers.
Don't look now, buddy. There are still lots of millions of folk who will vote for these lefties and socialists anyway. It's the nature of the two-party system. Some of them are holding their nose, just like the righties do when the Christians vote for Republican blue-blooders. It don't make much sense in either case, but whaddya gonna do--sit at home???It's great to be alive and pumping oxygen!

Obama acts as though having an opinion is divisive--that is, in his opinion, having an opinion which is not of his variety, is what he thinks is the problem. In short, leftist groupthink is going to solve the problems. You know, let's softtalk higher taxes and victims. Yeah, some Christians are part of the problem--just like some guys with the middle name Hussein are part of the problem.

Addressing the 50th anniversary convention of his own denomination, the United Church of Christ, Senator Barack Obama of Illinois said Saturday that the religious right had “hijacked” faith and divided the country by exploiting issues like abortion, same-sex marriage and school prayer.—“But somehow, somewhere along the way, faith stopped being used to bring us together,” Mr. Obama said. “Faith started being used to drive us apart. Faith got hijacked.”…
He's absolutely right.

Obama:
Attended a Madrassa School.............False
Is a Muslim....................................False
Raised in a Muslim school.................False
Is a Christian................................True
Leaders of the Christian right divisive...........Emphatically true.
Fortunately one of the worst, Jerry Falwell, was taken home to hell recently.

Geer.....
We both know those places are just make believe.....
Mr. Farwell is just taking a short dirt nap....
However, if any one can prove different, I would gladly listen...
One day, we all will join him.
Life goes on long after the thrill of living is gone.
