    that is some crap there, that enclosure helps keep the water out and the heat in! head preasures must be high on all of them since they fight for air and recycle each others air.

    I almost thought I reconized that apartment building til I saw where you were from.

    I like Rheem/Ruud, but that is close to the worst possible choice of equipment for that location...
    If more government is the answer, then it's a really stupid question.

    i wonder if they left out the lower screws so they could pop the access cover off, or did a guy with 1" wide fingers do it after they broke the first time.


    I have to say I have installed about 400 of those type condensors in the rheem and ruud line durring the late 90's early 2000 years

    I have an account like that in downtown St. Pete. Three story building, all retail/restaraunts, and a landing on the roof that's about 15'x15' that has a makeup air fan, two grease fans, 6 ice machine/walk-in/slurpee machine condensing units, a 10 ton Carrier Gemini cu, a 5 ton Trane cu, and a 5 ton York cu. It's nasty.

    Well at least they are being cared for!

    Looks like they sent the most physically fit guy to do the job. Or you sent your partner in that mess and got him in bad spot. If it's your apprentice he'll thank you forever for allowing him the opportunity to get blasted with hot air everywhere he turned. I'd rather be in an attic than try to crawl around that mess. You would be lucky if there was 1 screw on there. Where is the inspector that O.K.'d this set up times 2.
