Did you eat the bass or let it go so it can grow? I only ask, because around here, most fishermen don't eat largemouth bass. They are pretty much considered a "sport" fish, caught for the fun of it and released. I personally don't hesitate to filet a bass.

I bass fish competitively and won't hesitate to filet a bass as long as it's not from the water I compete on. Good tasting fish.

Yeah I kept him and a few of his friends. I normally release the bigger ones, but the owner of the lake plans on draining it soon, and wants it fished out

How in the world did you get 480 high side with 15 psi suction ??

    The 15 understandable with a cruddy piston .... but 480 head ??

Was the condenser fan locked up ?

I would say it was probably overcharged, a lot of guys dump a few pounds in before they start head scratching. Not saying the op did but that someone before him probably did.

That's exactly what happened. An inexperienced coworker was there a day or two before me an added about four pounds trying to raise suction pressure.

Sweet, I landed my avitar on buzz bait. One of those double blade ones. Never have caught a bass that big about 2lb is best I ever get.
