    heat pump startup gone wrong

First off, hi all. I got a 3ton h/p, change out with air handler and new lineset. I weighed the charge in according to nameplate and added extra for lineset, 11.85 lbs. On starting up the head was 145# and suct was 35#. 75 outdoor temp and 72 inside. Problem is when I checked sh it was high, around 30-35. So I started to add freon to lower it. Suction pressure started rising but instead of the suct temp dropping like it should to bring sh down the temp started rising! Any ideas would be great.

If this 410a and a txv you need to wait at least 45 minutes of run time before adjusting the charge

Its R22 with a piston. I did verify the correct piston size.

Call an HVAC company out to fix it for you. That's is my best advice.
