    Blistering hot condensate drain pan

Nothing line a W coil from Allstyle set on a Rheem 80% AFUE furnace. I wonder if they ever got a funny smell operating the heat and bubbling this plastic drain pan? Old folks home so you know they ran the heat.

Coil was very dirty. We cleaned as best we could and drain pan could not handle the handling it took for the cleaning and cracked in half. Taking a closer look after we removed it had us shaking our heads at how hot this thing got.

    "How hot was it?"

"It was so hot they had to install a fan in the debt ceiling."
