    Hobart dough mixer H-600T

I have been trying to take out the broken pin (holds the dough mixing hook) with no luck.Tried almost everything heating it, tried to drill it with carbide drill,WD-40. Checked with vernier caliper its not taper pin. Hobart is not giving any information. Sr no is 99-217-742. Any help will be appreciated.

you have to remove the plug screw and the two set screws under the plug screw before you can drive the pin out. If you tried drilling it , you may have to replace the agitator shaft Hope this helps

remove the planetary and press it out. That is the only way that worked for me. remove the oil in the planetary first. reinstall and add new oil.it takes about 6 oz.

use a angle grinder and just slightly grind the part of the pin thats sticking out. then you can get the rest out.

I believe there is a very small hole in the bayonet shaft, opposite where the pin protrudes, that you insert a small punch into to tap out the pin, if it isn't too destroyed. I've had to heat the pin up red hot on some to allow getting it out.

If there's no hole, perhaps I'm dreaming, or maybe I drilled one there. It's been too long.
